Introducing Telpay's New President and GM: Mark Loewen

Telpay, a Canadian leader in digital payment solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Loewen as President and General Manager. A respected fintech leader with a background in product development, commercialization strategy, and entrepreneurial leadership, Mark brings a bold vision and a proven track record of driving meaningful transformation.

Since joining Telpay in 2021, Mark has played a central role in modernizing the company’s product offering—leading the shift from a legacy desktop system to a fully online payment platform that re-established Telpay as a serious player in the Canadian fintech space. Known for combining innovative thinking with practical execution, Mark ensures that big ideas are brought to life with precision and purpose.

Beyond technology, Mark is a community-minded leader who believes that lasting change happens through service—both in business and beyond. He leads with clarity, purpose, and a deep commitment to the people around him.

This leadership transition also marks an opportunity to thank Kevin Sokolowski, who served as President for the past three years. Under Kevin’s leadership, Telpay experienced significant growth, launched new products, and reinforced its position in the market. Kevin now returns to Payworks as Chief Business Transformation Officer, where he will lead organizational change and innovation initiatives.

“I’ve had the privilege of working closely with Mark over the past few years, and I can say with confidence that Telpay is in excellent hands,” said Kevin Sokolowski. “He brings a rare combination of insight, empathy, and execution. His leadership will carry Telpay forward with both vision and heart.”

As Telpay continues to serve the evolving needs of Canadian businesses, this transition signals a renewed focus on innovation, partnership, and delivering real value to the businesses that rely on Telpay every day.
