Roll out the red carpet for Dianne Mueller, who is a Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB), a certified Sage 50 consultant and a certified Sage trainer. Dianne has been a strong supporter of Telpay for over 10 years continuously recommending Telpay as an option for her small business clients. Her company, Soma Small Business Solutions, was established in 1997 and is now located on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.
For the past 16 years Dianne has been helping small business entrepreneurs manage their finances and keep accurate bookkeeping records. She has earned the reputation of being reliable, committed and a knowledgeable source to her clients. Dianne also donates her time at Small Business BC, conducting financial seminars for new entrepreneurs. In addition, she was honoured in 2011 with the Simply Accounting Outstanding Achievement Mentorship Award for giving back through mentoring other bookkeepers. In 2014, she became part of the Sage President’s Circle for the most Sage Payment Referrals.
In 2007, Dianne was one of the three co-founders of the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada (IPBC) and was one of the first Certified Professional Bookkeeper of the organization. She is a strong advocate of IPBC and has donated a significant amount of her knowledge and time to successfully build IPBC to where it is today. Currently, she is Chair of the Board of Directors and plays a very active role in the future growth and strategic development of IPBC.
On November 14, Dianne was invited to the United Kingdom by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers to attend the prestigious International Luca Awards, which are the Oscars of the international bookkeeping world. The Luca Awards are presented and awarded by The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers–Global (ICB-Global), a non-profit organization with over 150,000 members in 110 countries. As the stars of the global bookkeeping profession gathered in London, this red carpet event took place at the world famous home of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, (BAFTA). It was a glitzy and glamorous evening celebrating bookkeeping excellence globally.
Drum roll please…Dianne was honoured and awarded the International Luca Award for Outstanding Service to the Bookkeeping Profession in Canada…Applause! Dianne stated,“It is an incredible honour that the board of directors of IPBC awarded me the first Canadian Luca Award. The journey has been hard at times but with help from others who share the same vision, I am thrilled that IPBC is continuing to grow and is getting stronger every year in Canada.”
