On October 23th, Telpay’s hosted our Annual VIP Night at Prairie Theatre Exchange (PTE). With almost 50 people in attendance, it was a smashing success. The evening was a great opportunity to mingle with customers and ASP partners, and enjoy the world premiere of Small Things.
At the Pre-Theatre Reception, Robert Metcalfe, Artistic Director of PTE opened up with formal greetings, along with a powerful message on the importance of supporting original Canadian productions. Chris Epp-Vollrath, President of Telpay supported his position and also provided an engaging snapshot of What’s New at Telpay. The highlight of the evening was the play Small Things by Daniel MacIvor.
Small Things is about how two worlds collide in a small town. The play focuses on three women and is an exploration of how it’s really just small things that can keep us from understanding each other.
Prairie Theatre Exchange was born out of the community in 1972. From humble beginings, PTE has grown to epitomize, for thousands of Winnipeggers, the good things in life here on the Prairies: camaraderie, self-sufficiency, strength of will, creativity and warmth of heart.
Telpay was proud to be the premier sponsor of the play Small Things and has been a long standing supporter of PTE and the arts in Winnipeg. The evening was our way of saying thanks to our customers and ASP Partners, plus be treated to a fabulous play.
