This week, Telpay was pleased to sponsor the May 12th luncheon at the Spring Professional Development (PD) Forum held by the Certified General Accountants of Manitoba (CGA). It was a three-day conference held at the Holiday Inn Airport in Winnipeg.
The PD program for CGA’s holds regular forums to improve basic skills, update professional knowledge, along with encouraging various management and leadership strategies. This particular PD forum included education seminars on the topics of risk management, group mindsets and effective communication.
At the luncheon, the CGA’s were also the first to hear Telpay’s “new and improved” presentation with fresh content, graphics and interactive presentation style. The goal was to provide an engaging overview of Telpay. Presenting for Telpay were Lisa Shaw, Public Relations and Sean Camara, Business Development Agent. The presentation starts with a hilarious monologue by Ellen…the queen of daytime comedy…on the antiquated use of cheques. It was not only funny, but effective for Telpay in setting the tone for an innovative presentation.
The feedback following the presentation was excellent, Kathy Lambert, Coordinator of Sponsorship and Events, stated;
“This session was a great balance of content, positive energy and the Ellen video on using cheques was a hit. Thanks for the enjoyable and refreshing presentation. I think our CGA’s will think twice about using cheques and go with Telpay. Finally, thank you again for sponsoring the lunch and for the really enjoyable and refreshing presentation”.
The CGA’s of Manitoba are a very important audience and Telpay is pleased to be a long standing sponsor of these events.
