Telpay Rocks for Charity

On Friday, March 20, Telpay & Direct Deposits made their inaugural debut at the 11th Annual Winn$tock Battle of the Financial Industry Bands for Charity. The sold out event was held at Cowboys Roadhouse in Winnipeg.  Over 700 people attended to hear bands compete from Investors Group, Great West Life, Manitoba Public Insurance, Manitoba Finance and Telpay. The event raised over $108,000 for the Movement Centre, a United Way agency committed to improving the physical health of children and adults with physical disabilities. Way to rock n’ roll Telpay for a great cause.

Meet the Real Life Hamburglar

Telpay Customer, John Bergeron, owns six McDonald’s locations in the Ottawa Valley area and is a huge Ottawa Senators fan and supporter.  After Ottawa’s victory on Sunday, John is now supporting Senators’ goalie, Andrew (The Hamburglar) Hammond, for life by providing him with a lifetime McDonald’s Card.

“I Guess at the end of the day at least I know I’ll never end up starving.  If hockey doesn’t’ work out, I have a meal plan” says Hammond.

Pillars for Business Growth: Sales

Basically, this is the activity that converts your marketing leads and prospects into paying customers. If you are not comfortable with sales and negotiations, you need to gain some level of comfort and experience quickly. I recommend sales training programs for all of my customers and students, regardless of industry. I believe that our sales ability determines the level of success that we achieve in life. If you view “sales” as a negative concept, change your perspective to focus on relationship building and exceptional customer service.
